Magic & Fear

I am wandering around, crunching on leaves, stepping on gravel, drawing attention to myself and no one comes. Even though my heart is in my mouth, my palms sweaty in the blistering cold air, every unknown movement makes me jump out of my skin. My lens trying to capture the psyche I am in. I did feel like I was being watched. But not by the cctv, by the imaginary voyeur my mind kept making up. My eyes played tricks on me. The fireworks booming in the distance enforced the feeling that the air was suffocating me. I felt claustrophobic in the middle of an open field.
